Britney Spears To Get New 'Glee' Tribute Episode

Fox comedy will also move to Thursday, like 'X Factor,' where Brit has signed on to judge.

After drawing record ratings the first time around, "Glee" has announced plans to pay homage to Britney Spears ... one more time. The news comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Spears will join the "X Factor" as judge, when the competition show returns to Fox this fall on Thursday nights. (Glee also moves to Thursdays for season four.)

While Brit appeared in the September 2010 tribute episode, which used her impressive collection of hits, the 2012 tribute episode will instead focus on her "Glee" namesake, Brittany S. Pierce (played by Heather Morris), without any appearances from Spears. EW.com reports that the new episode will be the second in the show's fourth season, returning in the fall.

The Spears-centric episode will feature eight of her songs, and a source revealed that Fox is excited to have Spears joining the network on "X Factor" and that the "Glee" ep is partly a reflection of that.

Spears was on hand Monday at the Fox Upfront presentation in New York City, where she appeared alongside fellow "X Factor" newbie Demi Lovato, as well as returning judges L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell. At the event, the judges and host of "So You Think You Can Dance" weighed in on the ladies joining the show.

"I don't have any advice for those ladies," "SYTYCD" host Cat Deeley told MTV News. "What I do like about it though is they will be able to absolutely impart some serious wisdom. I love the idea that they've been in the business for so long and since being kids, and so quite often they've had successes and they've had failures on things.

"And I think the most important thing is the mistakes we make," she added. "You learn so much from mistakes that you make and I think they'll be able to impart their wisdom to the new kids coming through. I think it's a great booking."

UFC on FX 4 Lineup gets Several Changes due to Injury

The UFC on FX 4 lineup has changed considerably since first announced, thanks to several fighters suffering injuries during training camps and withdrawing from their respective bouts. Rick Story, Matt Brown and Steven Siler have all received new opponents for the card, which takes place on June 22 in Atlantic City.

The UFC on FX 4 lineup has changed considerably since first announced, thanks to several fighters suffering injuries during training camps and withdrawing from their respective bouts.

Welterweight Rick Story has received two new opponents since his original adversary, Rich Attonito, pulled out of their fight. Story was then scheduled to meet Papy Abedi at the event, but the Swedish fighter also got injured and withdrew from the bout. Now, Story will attempt to rebound from back-to-back losses against promotional newcomer Brock Jardine.

In other welterweight action, Matt Brown will no longer be facing Matt Riddle on the card. Riddle suffered an injury and has withdrawn from the event, leaving the door open for Luis Ramos – whose single UFC appearance to date resulted in a quick TKO loss to Erick Silva – to step up and fill in.

Also, Jim Hettes bowed out of his featherweight tilt with Steven Siler and has been replaced by another octagon debutant in Joey Gambino.

UFC on FX 4 will take place on June 22 at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey and will be headlined by lightweights Gray Maynard and Clay Guida.

'American Idol' Teaches Joshua Ledet The Power Of 'No'

'Throughout this competition, I grew a backbone,' Ledet says of his third-place finish and his plans for a post-'Idol' album.

Despite receiving heaps of hyperbolic praise throughout his run on "American Idol" — like, for example, when he was dubbed "one of the best singers ever on the show" — Joshua Ledet wasn't angry when he was booted in the week leading up to the "Idol" finale. Quite the opposite, in fact.

"I was happy that I finished third; all the stress was gone from me. I felt relieved that I didn't have to worry about competing, or learning any more songs ... I was really, really relieved after getting voted off," Ledet told MTV News. "Just being on a schedule every day, knowing what you're going to do throughout the whole day, at the exact time, was ridiculous. We would literally go by the schedule. It was tough, rehearsing, learning the songs, doing press, photo shoots, all these different things, all in one day. ... I don't even think celebrities do that much in one day."

And while he might have had some issues with the rather frantic "Idol" schedule, Ledet had none with the guy who ended up winning this season, Phillip Phillips, whom he said "deserved" to be crowned champion — even if, like much of America, Ledet knew it was pretty much a foregone conclusion.

"He's not the kind of person to let people make decisions for him, he stands his ground and does his own thing. I think his career will be great," he said. "I kinda knew in the back of my head that it was going to be Phillip, because his fans are ridiculous."

Ledet added that he'd like to emulate Phillips' attitude when it comes time to make his post-"Idol" album — something that, before he competed on the show, seemed an impossibility for the shy Louisiana native. But now, thanks to his tremendous run and all that praise, Ledet's ready to make the kind of album he wants to, and on his own terms.

"I think throughout this competition, I grew a backbone, and I learned how to say 'no.' And I think when that time comes, to where I'm sitting in a room with a whole bunch of people deciding what my album's going to be like, I think I'll be strong enough to say 'no' to some things and 'yes' to things that I really want," Ledet smiled. "And when they say 'no,' I'll say 'yes' if I really like it. ... Growing a backbone throughout this competition really helped me and got me in the shape I need to be in. ... It's the best thing I took from 'American Idol.'"

Lil' Kim HINTS At Tour With Missy And Eve & "Prison" Tell-All + DMX ANNOUNCES "UNDISPUTED: WEIGH IN" Tour

Lil' Kim stopped by Chicago's Power 92 radio station recently where she dished on her upcoming book and hinted at a possible tour with Missy and Eve. Get the deets inside and find out about DMX's upcoming tour.

During a recent Chicago's Power 92 interview where she made her “Return of the Queen” tour stop, Lil' Kim dished on a larger scale tour and her upcoming book.

Kimmie said she is finishing up her tell-all about her stay in prison, which will focus on her life and the women she met inside. She also talked about her upcoming music saying, “The next single is called "Look Like Money" and it’s produced by Rockwilder. By the time we hit L.A. [June 8], it should be just dropping.”

She then hinted at a tour featuring other female emcees saying, "We got something really special planned and it's with me, Missy, and Eve.”

That would be hot. She also dissed the Notorious movie--again--calling it inaccurate. She stated:

“Let’s just be real about it. [Biggie's] wife, his mom, and all them people who was running that movie, aside from Puff, were not around this man the way we were around this man. We were around this man every five minutes, every day. I think our story would be a little more real.”

DMX just announced that his "UNDISPUTED: WEIGH IN" tour will kick off on June 1st. The tour will serve to promote his 7th studio album Undisputed.

The first leg of the tour starts in Cincinnati, OH with additional portions to be announced soon. X said,

"It's been a long time since I've had the chance to go out and touch the fans. They've consistently supported through the ups and downs. I'm anxious to get back in front of them and return the favor, keeping the focus on incredible music and memorable live shows."

His manager, Jason Fowler, added,

"We are excited to get back on the road with the "Undisputed: Weigh In" promo tour this summer. With X getting the
chance to be in front of his fans day in and day out, this project has been a long time coming and the DOG is definitely back. We're looking at 30-40 cities across the US on the promo run with a full US tour planned in the fall to coincide with the Undisputed album release."

The first release from the disc, "I Don't Dance," was produced by JR Rotem and featuring Cleveland spit-fire rapper and longtime DMX admirer MGK. "I Don't Dance. A music video directed by John Colombo will soon follow.

Chris Cornell Filling In For Robert Plant On Led Zeppelin Tour? That's News To Him

'I have not been approached to fill in for Robert Plant on the Zeppelin tour, but that isn't to say I won't be,' singer says.

Former SoundgardenSoundgarden and AudioslaveAudioslave frontman Chris CornellChris Cornell has spoken out for the first time about rumors that he's been asked to fill in for Robert PlantRobert Plant on a proposed Led ZeppelinLed Zeppelin reunion tour. The trek would feature original guitarist Jimmy Page, original bassist John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham taking over on drums for his late father, John Bonham.

Cornell has been mentioned — along with Foo FightersFoo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, former Van HalenVan Halen frontman Sammy HagarSammy Hagar, White StripesWhite Stripes mastermind Jack White and Alter BridgeAlter Bridge's Myles Kennedy — as a potential Plant fill-in. Plant has already said that he wouldn't take part in the tour.

"I have not been approached so far to fill in for Robert Plant on the upcoming Zeppelin tour, but that isn't to say I won't be," Cornell told MTV News. "I've heard that from about 200 people now, and it might be one of those situations where it's just an online rumor or it might be true. But if you see anyone from Led Zeppelin around, let me know. I think I should actually fill in for Jimmy Page on the Robert Plant/ Alison Krauss tour."

Cornell's denial comes just a day after AerosmithAerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford confirmed reports that frontman Steven Tyler recently met with Zeppelin for an impromptu jam session. "They did it for fun," Whitford said during an appearance on the syndicated show "Todd N Tyler Radio Empire." "I actually think Jimmy wanted Steven to come over and play a little bit because I think he was trying to light a fire under Robert."

Rumors of a Zeppelin reunion tour have abounded since the iconic band played a single reunion set last year at London's O2 Arena. Twisted SisterTwisted Sister frontman Dee Snider added fuel to the fire last month when he revealed that the group was thinking of touring, with or without Plant.

According to Snider, the rest of the band told Plant, " 'We're all rehearsed, we're ready to go. Here's a gazillion dollars on the table. If you don't do it, we're going out with this kid [Myles Kennedy].' "

"And he can sing the sh-- out of Zeppelin," Snider added. "They're going to hope that Robert, at the last minute, will go, 'OK,' and step in."

In a recent interview, Jones told BBC Radio Devon that a new singer was being sought to take over for Plant. "We are trying out a couple of singers," he said. "We want to do it. It's sounding great, and we want to get on and get out there."

But Jones insists that he, Page and Bonham aren't interested in finding a Plant clone. "It's got to be right," he said. "There's no point in just finding another Robert. You could get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band. There would be a record and a tour, but everyone has to be onboard."

Of course, even if Zeppelin were to approach him, Cornell might be too busy to take over vocals for the band. His upcoming TimbalandTimbaland-produced solo LP, Scream, will be released within the next few months. Cornell told MTV News last month that some of his fans might consider Scream something of a departure, but he doesn't see it that way.

"It makes me happy that there's this perception that I have a group of fans that I'm now sort of throwing a curve at and what their reaction will be," he said. "But I've been in this situation so many times already. When I put out [1999's] Euphoria Morning, my main goal was to create an album that sounded like nothing I'd done in Soundgarden, and I did that. I also had that with Temple of the Dog, where I showed up with songs that weren't necessarily riff-based. And then, of course, the pairing of me and members of Rage Against the MachineRage Against the Machine had everyone sort of speculating about what that would sound like.

"It feels like I've done this so many times that when it's presented to me as being a departure, I feel that's a misconception," he added. "I feel like that's my theme at this point."

Drake's Deal With The Weeknd 'Being Worked Out'

The Weeknd has a ton of fans, but Drake may be the biggest fan of them all. Of course, there is some bias: Drizzy embraced the Toronto singer last year and has since worked with him on fan favorites like "Crew Love," "The Ride" and "The Zone."

The two have even brought their respective OVO and XO cliques together to form OVOXO. So what's the real deal with Drake and the Weeknd?

"As far as on paper, it's all being worked out, but that's not really what counts anyway. What counts to me is the fact that the affiliation is so known, and that's all I really care about," Drake told MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway during his May 17 tour stop in Houston.

The Young Money star didn't shed much light on the Weeknd's career, but then again, since the release of his breakout mixtape House of Balloons last year, the singer has been shrouded in mystery. Though he performed at Coachella last month and embarked on his own solo tour, the Weeknd has yet to give a definitive interview or released very many music videos. Still, Drake recognizes the magic they create together and whether or not he actually signs his Toronto running mate, he insists there will always be a union of some sort.

"I want to continue being involved in his career and vice versa and keep making music together, because you take songs like 'Crew Love' and 'The Zone,' that's what people wait all night to hear," he said.

Drizzy welcomed the "Wicked Games" vocalist onstage to perform with him during his Concord, California, stop in the Bay Area at the beginning of May. "If you want to talk about evolution — a quick evolution — that's definitely somebody who, everywhere I go, they love him," he said. "They're that loud every single night when I say the Weeknd's name and when he came out at the show in the Bay, it was crazy.

"We're definitely a family," Drake added. "It's a definitely a Toronto thing. That's not changing at all."

SIGH: The "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" Folks Film At Pearl Bistro

Their reality show premieres June 18th, and the VH1 "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" cast is still filming. Check out some behind the scenes pics of Lil Scrappy, his mama, Rasheeda, Shay "Buckeey" Johnson and more inside....

Oh, we see how this show will be. ATL's LAHH cast filmed at Pearl Bistro nightclub (which many ATL folks tell us this signifies a very small budget) recently. Apparently they were all on hand to celebrate Scrappy's release of his mixtape, Full Metal Jacket 2. He also performed a track off his upcoming album (The Grustle) that features co-star Rasheeda called "Shawty Sprung." Oh joy.

Rick Ross And Usher's 'Touch 'N You' Is For 'The Ladies'

God Forgives, but Rick Ross does not. Still, as apathetic as the Bawse may portray himself, Rozay has a sweet spot when it comes to the ladies. So on "Touch 'N You," the new big money single off of Ross' upcoming God Forgives, I Don't, the Maybach CEO and guest star Usher Raymond show a little love to the hunnies.

"It's a real sexy record. I wanted to make sure the ladies knew that they could be a part of this movement, a part of this project," Rick Ross told MTV News on Thursday (May 24) from the "Touch 'N You" video set in Atlanta. "I would never let the ladies down even if it's a real hard album or however it may be titled."

The upcoming clip is directed by Chris Robinson (Lil Wayne "How to Love," Jay-Z "Roc Boys") and will of course co-star Usher. "It's an incredible one, Chris once again comes together making an incredible video," Usher told us. "It is a conceptual video depicting the world that Rozay is in. My participation is just to show up and be cool."

Cool is an understatement when it comes to Usher, who is riding high off of his #1 Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song "Climax." Ross is no stranger to love songs either; he's given the ladies plenty to swoon over on singles like 2008's "Here I Am" and 2010's "Aston Martin Music," but having Ush on a track adds a certain appeal.

The combination of Raymond's vocals and the sexy "Touch 'N You" video should be just enough to help Rozay properly put his feelings in perspective. Sometimes after long studio sessions with Meek Mill, Wale and the rest of his MMG compadres, the Bawse just needs to get away, and that's what he aims to capture in the clip. "It's basically like a situation where life gets so hectic sometimes you just want to get away with that special female and that's what this was based off," he said.

Louis Gaudinot considering losing his green mop of hair after UFC on Fox 3 win

Louis Gaudinot became known for his green hair while a castmember on "The Ultimate Fighter," but it got a bit out of hand on Saturday night at UFC on Fox 3. He won his bout over John Lineker by submission and the Fight of the Night bonus, but his long, thick, green hair became the focus of the bout. Dana White even joked that is was time for a cut.

Gaudinot told MMA Junkie Radio that he's thinking of cutting his hair, but he'll still keep it green.

Robert Pattinson's 'Cosmopolis': The Cannes Reviews Are In!

Critics are split on whether the 'Twilight' actor was the right casting choice.

After supporting his girlfriend Kristen Stewart as she debuted "On the Road," Robert Pattinson hit the Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 25) to premiere his film "Cosmopolis." Directed by David Cronenberg, the film follows Eric Packer (Pattinson) in the not-too-distant future as he's chauffeured through Manhattan on his way to get a haircut. His entire world is falling apart — his marriage is failing, his financial status is slipping and even his very life is being threatened.

As reviews of the film pour in, it's apparent that critics agree the film has its odd moments, but they're split on whether Pattinson is the perfect choice for the lead role. Here's what the critics had to say about "Cosmopolis."

The Story
" 'Cosmopolis,' an adaptation of Don DeLillo's typically provocative novel of the same name, is the first feature film since 1999's 'eXistenZ' that filmmaker David Cronenberg has directed and scripted. This in part explains why 'Cosmopolis' is such a triumph: it's both an exceptional adaptation and a remarkable work unto itself.

Cronenberg makes slight but salient changes to DeLillo's source narrative. These changes, which are best described by one character as 'slight variation[s],' prove that Cronenberg's given serious consideration to what should and shouldn't be represented in his adaptation of the author's ruminative, conversation-driven narrative. For example, in Cronenberg's film, Eric Packer (a surprisingly adequate Robert Pattinson), an ambivalent and self-destructive power broker, does not get to have sex with his wife like he's wanted to do throughout DeLillo's book. Other changes, like the fact that Packer is investing and studying the steady rise in the Chinese yuan in the film and not the Japanese yen, as in the book, are equally striking. These differences noticeably enrich DeLillo's original story, making Cronenberg's 'Cosmopolis' that much more rewarding in its own dizzying way." — Simon Abrams, Indiewire

"On the page and on film, Eric is a controlled and controlling figure, a man impervious to society's norms who one must feel has a mind operating well beyond the capacities of mere mortals. He's utterly humorless and without detectable compassion or accessible humanity, which makes him less than companionable as a character. Pattinson doesn't help matters by revealing nothing behind the eyes and delivering nearly all his lines with the same rhythm and intonations, plus repetitive head nods in the bargain. It's a tough character that perhaps a young Jeremy Irons could have made riveting, but Pattinson is too bland and monotonous to hold the interest." — Todd McCarthy, The Hollywood Reporter

"After 'Water for Elephants' it remains to be seen whether Pattinson's teen following really is willing to follow him anywhere. "There are other cast members who do an excellent idea of wrapping their heads around DeLillo's big ideas and Cronenberg's indirect dialogue — Juliette Binoche and Samantha Morton, Mathieu Almaric and Paul Giamatti — and the music, by Metric, supplies the right kind of spiky, sensuous unease for a man driven across town and driven to self-destruction. The film's cynicism is both majestic and well-earned; at one point, Eric notes '... nobody hates the rich ... everybody thinks they're ten seconds away from being rich.' A chilly, crisp and crystal-shard sharp satire of our money-crazed world, 'Cosmopolis' takes us on a limo ride through the collapse of modern society: We're not behind the wheel for this ride, but rest assured, in the end, we're going to have to get out and pay for it." — James Rocchi, MSN.com

The Final Word
"[R]ather than a thriller, 'Cosmopolis' plays more like a wispy film of ideas, with conversations in the limo about society, wealth and humanity dominating most of the screen time. Almost all of these feel detached and meticulously unfocused. Characters toss around ideas or questions, which their conversation partner then promptly ignores or responds to with a non-sequitur. It's often reminiscent of work by playwright/screenwriter Harold Pinter, but never quite as fun, nor nearly as humorous as it should be. ... Cronenberg has still made an odd, uncompromising and occasionally brilliant film of his own, one which is well worth seeing if only for the deft way Cronenberg finds an emotional arc in such an inhuman world. No Doubt Set To Return At 2012 Teen Choice Awards

Band will perform at the July 22 show, marking their first performance in nearly three years.

No Doubt are putting the finishing touches on their first album in more than a decade (we still don't know what it's called, but we do know it'll be in stores September 25), and now, they've announced their return to the stage: July 22, at the Teen Choice Awards.

The band broke the news via their Twitter account, writing, "You may have heard the rumors ... and yes, we will be performing on the Teen Choice Awards in July!"

At the moment, No Doubt are the only artists confirmed to play the TCAs, which air July 22 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. It also marks their first performance since wrapping a summer tour with Paramore in 2009 and a pair of Bridge School benefit shows in October of the same year.

In recent months, there's been an uptick in activity on the follow-up to 2001's Rock Steady album, which No Doubt have been working on in earnest since 2008. Sessions for the new album have been helmed by producer Mark "Spike" Stent, and the band has been keeping fans updated on developments through Twitter and with in-studio videos. The first of those videos shows ND polishing a Diplo and Switch track called "Push and Shove" and, according to their tweets, other new tunes include "Undone" and "Heaven."

Last summer, Rolling Stone got an advance listen to a handful of songs from the album, including "Settle Down" and "One More Summer." It's not known if those tunes will end up making the final cut for the still-untitled album.

Do Foo Fighters Know Robert Pattinson From Robert Plant?

During band's rehearsal break for Sunday's Movie Awards, we put Foos to the test.

UNIVERSAL CITY, California — Hard rock, heavy metal, hardcore and punk have long gone hand-in-hand with evil wizards, magic, vampires and werewolves. And with a collective sub-cultural pedigree that includes stints in the Germs, No Use for a Name, Sunny Day Real Estate, Scream and some band called Nirvana, you'd think the Foo Fighters — set to perform at Sunday's Movie Awards — would know their "Potter" from their Zeppelin. Certainly they can recognize a "wand" reference and pinpoint its origin?

Right? Before we put MTV News' magically crafted trivia to the band, it seemed safe to assume the Foos would accurately distinguish between the words of Harry Potter, a "Twilight" character and Led Zeppelin. But was their underground nerd cred blown to shreds? Read on — and click the video! — to see how the Foo Fighters fared when we caught up with them on the Universal Studios lot, shortly after they finished rehearsing their Movie Awards performance.

Our own Jim Cantiello played dungeon master as Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear were given a series of semi-famous lines and asked whether they originated with "Harry Potter," the "Twilight Saga" or the lyrics of hard-rock pioneers Led Zeppelin.

Here's a sampling of a few of those one-liners:

» "The elder wand, the most powerful wand ever made."

» "Why don't you let me be yours ever truly? Can I make your garden grow?"

» "You're lying, Dolores! You mustn't tell lies!"

Can you guess whether the lines above came from the "Potter" flicks, "Twilight" or Robert Plant?

One Direction Keep Fans Screaming All Night On Tour

U.K. pop sensations hit New Jersey's IZOD Center for a sell-out show on Friday packed with hits and rocking covers.

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey — Maybe you've heard their songs on the radio or caught their TV performances on the "Today" show or "Saturday Night Live," but nothing quite captures the success of One Direction like the screams.

On Friday night, thousands of fans from across the Tri-State area hit the IZOD Center, filling the 19,000-capacity arena for the latest stop on the U.K. pop sensation's headlining, Stateside tour. They were there to experience a new wave of a British Invasion, and they weren't disappointed.

Even before the show started, there was an excitement and energy in the air as Directioners — young and old alike — rushed into the building wearing homemade T-shirts, carrying posters and sporting body paint declaring their love for their favorite 1D members, be it Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson or Harry Styles.

After two opening acts and a few warm-up songs, including Busta Rhymes and Run-DMC classics, One Direction finally hit the stage as the crowd jumped to its feet. Opening with " Na Na Na," the boys — dressed in the matching theme of red, white and blue, but each with their own signature touch — hit the harmonies hard. The concert followed a seasonal theme with corresponding video and costumes to match. A few songs in, Harry told the sell-out crowd, "I think this is our "biggest show" as a band!" which sent fans screaming all over again.

Veering from their chart-topping debut album, Up All Night, each 1D member took a shot at a solo cover of some of their favorite songs, including the Black Eyed Peas' "I Got a Feeling" and the Gym Class Heroes hit "Stereo Hearts." The boys then sat on stools as they serenaded fans with "Moments." Cell phone lights took the place of lighters as the audience sang every word of the ballad.

After a quick change into the next outfit (and the next season), 1D proceeded with some of their more popular hits, including "More Than This" and the album's title track, "Up All Night." The set soon moved onto the live-tweeting portion of the show, where fans tweeted questions from the audience to their favorite bandmember. Then Liam showed off some beat-boxing skills and Harry attempted to do the worm before the guys were back at it with another cover, this time the hit Kings of Leon song "Use Somebody."

To end the night, 1D gave a shout-out to their impressive backing band and closed with singles "One Thing" and, of course, their #1 hit "What Makes You Beautiful." But a perfect evening of hearty pop wouldn't be complete without an encore! So the boys returned to perform "I Want" to the delight of their devoted fans.

Madonna and co. looked to be in mostly good spirits as they made their way thru the airport terminal. I’m sure they have some pretour jitters but I have no doubt that they are ready to put on one amazing show for the folks in Israel. I can’t even tell you how jealous I am of the Israelis right now. They get to see Madonna‘s show in just a few days and I have to wait until OCTOBER! OY! Try as I might to remain unspoiled, I just can’t do it. I can’t wait that long to see what Madonna has in store with this new tour. These photos don’t show too much but still … they do give us an idea of how the show will turn out. Once Madonna hits the stage in Tel Aviv, we’re gonna be inundated with TONS of tour spoilers. Following her Grammy triumph  in February, May 20 could be another big night for Adele, as the British siren is a finalist in 18 award categories at the Billboard Music Awards. According to Billboard, Adele is leading in categories including Top Artist, Top Female Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist. Her breakthrough hit, "Rolling in the Deep," is a contender in seven different categories.

Adele has plenty of female companionship, as Rihanna and Lady Gaga are also finalists in a number of categories, with 13 for RiRi and 10 for Lady Gaga. Lil Wayne is also up for 10 categories, while party rockers LMFAO are finalists in 17. The awards are based on Billboard's chart rankings, and combine data from album sales and downloads, track downloads, radio airplay and touring in addition to streaming and social interactions with fans on Facebook, Twitter, Vevo, YouTube, Spotify and other popular online music services. The show will take place at Las Vegas' MGM Grand and be broadcast live on ABC on May 20.

On Sunday night, some of the biggest names in the music industry hit up the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas and decided that sparkles and sequins make for the perfect additions to any red carpet get-up. Well, it is Sin City after all.

Taylor Swift always seems to bring some of that Nashville sparkle to any red carpet. She arrived at the show in a pale-hued, sequined Elie Saab gown. Nicki Minaj showed off her signature sense of style in her baby-blue, body-hugging spandex Mark Fast catsuit.

Selena Gomez turned up the style dial in a sexy, cut-out black Dolce & Gabbana gown that she paired with red strappy sandals with sparkly bow detailing. Like Gomez, Ke$ha opted for some cut-out detailing in her sparkly, slate-gray dress with tulle skirt. Rihanna looked white hot in her men's tailored Max Azria suit, which she kept sexy and feminine by not buttoning her shirt all the way.

Fergie went S&M chic in her little black bandage-type dress by Hervé Léger. Nicole Kidman also wore black. She paired a casual braid hairstyle with a long black gown and Keith Urban. British pop cutie Kyle Minogue looked funky in her little black lacey dress. Inside the show, Britney Spears sat in the audience wearing a skimpy black dress of her own, her hair in loose curls, with little-to-no accessories.

While some stars kept the color scheme low-key, Keri Hilson decided to stand out in her billowy little yellow dress paired with a turquoise-colored belt. Kelly Rowland showed off some of her best assets in a body-hugging, bright pink bandage dress.

The fellas also looked tight on the carpet. Joe Jonas wore all black with white sneakers, Ne-Yo paired his periwinkle suit with a Yankees cap and Justin Bieber wore black tuxedo pants with a gold-lamé tuxedo jacket.

Just before weigh-ins, most fighters are cranky, to put it mildly. As they cut down to their fighting weight, they are hungry, often dehydrated, and eager to step on the scale and then go for a big meal with family and friends.

But not John Dodson. The flyweight who had cut all the way down to 126 lbs. couldn't keep still in the line before weigh-ins.

Some days, you gotta dance, John. Totally understandable. Hopefully, this display will lead to an invitation on "Dancing with the Stars." Who wouldn't want to see Dodson whirl around the dance floor? He won his last four bouts. The mirror ball trophy could be his next big win.

When Cronenberg's movies get weird we see giant beetles giving assassination orders out of their anus or James Spader having sex with a scar on Rosanna Arquette’s leg.

UFC 146′s Duane Ludwig: I mix it up better than Hardy

On how Ludwig sees the fight going Saturday:

“I think it’s going to be back and forth on the feet but I feel I’m much more technical and probably one of the most technical strikers in MMA. He definitely hits hard but I hit hard as well and I mix it up better as far as the variations of my attacks but he can take a shot and chuck some bombs as well so I just need to stay sharp and don’t get greedy.”

On what Ludwig has noticed watching Hardy:

“He came out overly aggressive against Carlos Condit and it didn’t turn out well for him so hopefully he does [the same thing against me] because it will create a lot of openings for me. I’ve been working very hard and becoming a much more well rounded mixed martial artist rather than just a striker so I will be ready if it hits the ground as well.”

Marvel Casting Round-Up: 'Thor 2,' 'Iron Man 3' Add Villains

Plus, Jon Favreau confirms that he's reprising his role as Tony Stark's driver, Happy Hogan, in 'Iron Man 3.'

Although "Men in Black 3" seems poised to knock "The Avengers" out of the top spot at the box office this weekend, Marvel Studios is already well into planning its next movies.

Just last night, the studio announced casting for villains in the upcoming sequels "Thor 2" and "Iron Man 3", while Jon Favreau confirmed he would reprise his role as Tony Stark's driver, Happy Hogan.

In two separate scoops from Variety, the trade paper reported that Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen is in talks to play the villain in the Alan Taylor-directed "Thor" sequel, and that Ashley Hamilton, son of George, could join "Iron Man 3" as the villain Firepower. The identity of Mikkelsen's potential character has yet to be revealed.

And while he won't be returning to direct the third "Iron Man" movie, Jon Favreau will be coming back to reprise his role as Happy Hogan. The actor-turned-director tweeted a photo of his personalized chair from the set of "Iron Man 3."

Favreau had previously turned down an offer to direct his third "Iron Man" film, allowing "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" director Shane Black to take a crack at billionaire playboy and philanthropist Tony Stark. It was unclear whether Favreau would return to play Happy, who had a significantly larger role in "Iron Man 2," but recent word that Favreau would still be largely involved is now confirmed.

Rumors have already begun to circulate about the identity of Mikkelsen's character. The most popular theory involves a character called the Executioner, a rumor started by Bleeding Cool.

"Thor 2" is scheduled to go in front of cameras later this year for a fall 2013 release, while production on "Iron Man 3" is already under way for its summer 2013 bow.

Britney Spears, Demi Lovato Will Bring 'Serious Wisdom' to 'X Factor'

MTV News talks to 'So You Think You Can Dance' cast about Fox's decision to enlist the two pop stars for the reality singing show.

NEW YORK — As the fall TV season continues to make news, Fox has had the most buzz thanks to the news that Demi Lovato and Britney Spears will sit down beside Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid as female judges on "The X Factor," replacing Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.

On Monday (May 14), as talent from many of the network's leading shows lined up to talk to the press at the Fox event, what everyone really wanted to know was how these two artists might fit on the reality competition show.

Given that both have made names for themselves thanks to their own unique charms as pop stars, some of the more seasoned network vets offered up some sage advice for the reality show newbies. MTV News chatted with the folks of "So You Think You Can Dance," in the hours before the presentation where they were confirmed, to get their sage advice for Brit and Demi.

"You know, I don't have any advice for those ladies," "SYTYCD" host Cat Deeley explained. "What I do like about it though is they will be able to absolutely impart some serious wisdom. I love the idea that they've been in the business for so long and since being kids and so quite often they've had successes and they've had failures on things.

"And I think the most important thing is the mistakes we make," she added. "You learn so much from mistakes that you make and I think they'll be able to impart their wisdom to the new kids coming through. I think it's a great booking."

Judge Mary Murphy seemed excited by the chance to run into the girls at Fox-related events, and even shared that she'd love to see dancer Britney make an appearance on her show as well.

"So she would be a good [guest] too if she wanted to pop on over, but I think she's going to be a busy young woman with everything she has going on," she said. "I think we'll tune in to find out what the heck she's gonna say!" she said, going on to share some judging advice. "Just try to speak from the heart and you can't go wrong."

While Murphy and Deeley focused on the positive when it comes to their highly publicized judging spots, Nigel Lythgoe wondered if the singers (Britney, 30, and Demi, 19) might be too young for a mentor-type position.

"Well they've got to look on it as a brand-new show, to be frank. I don't think they need to look at the first season. I think they've got to be honest as they can be," he said of coming in for season two. "They're both artists and artists will always couch any criticism because they know that they've been criticized, so they've got to ignore that.

"They've got to be as honest as they can be with their contestants and just inspire them to be better," he said, before sharing his one hesitation about them.

"My only reservation is they're both young and I do think that mentors should be of an age," he added, joking he fears it might put older experts, like him, out of a job. "I do think mentors have had so much experience before they mentor. At the same time, both of these young ladies have had incredible personal experience and been through so much in their own lives that hopefully they can bring that to the party too. But at the end of the day, they are going to take newcomers and literally push them through a reality television competition. It's tough."
